The brightness of his face

The brightness of Imām Nāfiʿs face always amazed the people around him.

Once, Imām Nāfiʿ was told: “What a handsome face you have, and what excellent character.” To which He answered: “How can it be otherwise when I have shaken hands with the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), and have read the Qurʾān to him?” (In a dream).

وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ٱبۡيَضَّتۡ وُجُوهُهُمۡ فَفِي رَحۡمَةِ ٱللَّهِۖ هُمۡ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ

Surah Al-Imran Verse 107

But as for those whose faces will turn white, [they will be] within the mercy of Allah. They will abide therein eternally.
