143 Surah Al Araaf-1

When Moses came ………. When his Lord appeared to the mountain, He levelled it to dust and Moses collapsed unconscious. ………………..the believers.”

The word دَكاًّ (Crumbled to dust) occurs thrice in the Qur’an

Contemplation: Prophet Moses (May peace be on him) wanted to see God, but when he learnt that it was not possible to do so, he turned to God in repentance and reposed his faith in God, the unseen. Thus man is put to the test of believing in God without seeing Him. Seeing God is a reward reserved for the Hereafter. It was narrated that Abu Musa said: "The Messenger of Allah stood up among us and said five things. He said: 'Allah does not sleep, and it is not befitting that He should sleep. He lowers the Scales and raises them. The deed done during the day is taken up to Him before the deed done during the night, and the deed done during the night before the deed done during the day. His Veil is Light, and if He were to remove it, the glory of his Face would burn everything of His creation, as far as His gaze reaches.'" (Ibn majah)

Surah A’raaf : 176

If We had willed, …………………………………………His example is that of a dog: if you chase it away, it pants, and if you leave it, it ˹still˺ pants………………………………………… so perhaps they will reflect.

The word یَلۡهَث ذَّ ٰلِكَ (he lolls out his tongue, That) occurs twice in the Qur’an

Recitation Challenge: Reciting the two words in succession as the Makhraj of letters ث & ذ are same (tip of the tongue with the bottom edges of the top incisors). The question is how to merge them? Tajweed Tip: The letter ث is completely merged into letter ذ, this is called Idghaam mutajanis Sagheer (the sakin letter is merged with the letter with harakah)
