Juzz -7 الـلـؤلـؤ و الـمـرجـان
Juzz 7
1.أَتُحَـٰۤجُّوۤنِّی Surah Anaam :80
وَحَآجَّهُۥ قَوْمُهُۥ ۚ قَالَ أَتُحَـٰٓجُّوٓنِّى فِى ٱللَّهِ وَقَدْ هَدَىٰنِ ۚ ……………….. ۗ أَفَلَا تَتَذَكَّرُونَ ٨٠
And his people argued with him. He responded, “Are you arguing with me about Allah, while He has guided me? …………………………… Will you not be mindful?
أَتُحَـٰٓجُّوٓنِّى-Do you argue with me
Occurrence: Once
Recitation Challenge: In This word, two Madd Lazim occur consecutively in one word.
Tajweed Tip: Take a deep breath before starting this verse. Recite alif madd with letter ح after it letter ج with shaddah, make sure to raise the voice for Nabr at the shaddah Recite waaw maddiya with letter ج after it a letter ن with ghunnah. Both madd should be given equal timing of 6 counts.
2.يَنْهَوْنَ & يَنْـَٔوْنَ. Surah Anaam : 26
وَهُمْ يَنْهَوْنَ عَنْهُ وَيَنْـَٔوْنَ عَنْهُ ۖ وَإِن يُهْلِكُونَ إِلَّآ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ ٢٦
They turn others away from the Prophet and distance themselves as well. They ruin none but themselves, yet they fail to perceive it.
The word يَنْهَوْنَ (Meaning: forbid (others) occurs seven times and
the word يَنْـَٔوْنَ (Meaning: They keep away) occurs once in the Qur’an.
Recitation Challenge: Two similar words occurring in one verse.
Tajweed Tip: These words sounds similar but difference is that the one word has letter ه and another with ء. Both ء and ه comes from same makhraj (Aqsal Halq), they have different characteristics (sifaat).
In terms of running of air and sound letter ه has Hams and Rakhawah. Letter ء has Jahr and shiddah.
Recite Letter ه with passage of air and recite letter ء without passage/running of air.
Note: If ه is read without air then both ء & ه sounds same
