Juzz -15

1. Surah Israa : 82-شِفَآءٌ

وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ ٱلْقُرْءَانِ مَا هُوَ شِفَآءٌ وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۙ وَلَا يَزِيدُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ إِلَّا خَسَارًا ٨٢

We send down the Quran as a healing and mercy for the believers, but it only increases the wrongdoers in loss.

The word شِفَآءٌ {Meaning: (is) a healing} occurs four times in the Qur’an.

Contemplation : The Qur'an is a Cure and a Mercy for all ailments, spiritual and physical. It takes away the diseases in the heart such as doubt, hypocrisy, shirk, deviation and misguidance for those who believe in it. There are several ahaadith reports which prove that the Holy Prophet ﷺ has used the verses of Quran as a means of physical treatment. Practical implementation : Allow the Quran to heal you. Recite it when negative thoughts seem to overwhelm you, when you feel alone and need support. If you make the Quran your constant companion you will find yourself surprisingly healthy in all aspects. The sicknesses that weaken you will be cured and your increased spiritual health will allow you to tread firmly on the right path.

2. Surah Al-Kahf : 45-َ فَٱخْتَلَطَ

وَٱضْرِبْ لَهُم مَّثَلَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا……….… فَٱخْتَلَطَ بِهِۦ نَبَاتُ ٱلْأَرْضِ………..… ۗوَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ مُّقْتَدِرًا٤٥

And give them a parable of this worldly life. ˹It is˺ like the plants of the earth, thriving when sustained by the rain We send down from the sky. Then they ˹soon˺ turn into chaff scattered by the wind. And Allah is fully capable of ˹doing˺ all things.

The word فَٱخْتَلَطَ ( meaning: then mingles )appears thrice in the Quran

Recitation Challenge: Alternative heavy and light letters

Tajweed Tip: A Common mistake observed in this word is reading the light letters with heaviness because of nearby by heavy letters. Mechanism of making letter heavy is to elevate the back part of the tongue. When articulating light letters make sure that the back part of tongue is lowered. Ensure that the letters ف ت & ل are read with lightness (tarqeeq) from their makharij properly and the letters خ & ط with heaviness (tafkheem) by elevating back part of tongue.
