Juzz -14 الـلـؤلـؤ و الـمـرجـان

Juzz -14

1.َأَسْقَيْنَـٰكُمُوهُ-Hijir -22

وَأَرْسَلْنَا ٱلرِّيَـٰحَ لَوَٰقِحَ فَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَأَسْقَيْنَـٰكُمُوهُ وَمَآ أَنتُمْ لَهُۥ بِخَـٰزِنِينَ ٢٢

We send fertilizing winds, and bring down rain from the sky for you to drink. It is not you who hold its reserves.

َأَسْقَيْنَـٰكُمُوهُ (Meaning: for you to drink) occurs once in the Qur’an.

Recitation Challenge: A long word, combining different rules of tajweed: tafkeem, tarqeeq, madd and rakhawa (س & ي).

Tajweed Tip: Recite with complete application of all the rules.

2. An-Nahl : 76-يُوَجِّههُّ

وَضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلًا رَّجُلَيْنِ…………… أَيْنَمَا يُوَجِّههُّ لَا يَأْتِ بِخَيْرٍ ۖ…………………. ۙ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍۢ مُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ

And Allah sets forth a parable of two men: …………………………………Wherever he is sent, he brings no good. ………………………………….. and is on the Straight Path?

The Word- يُوَجِّههُّ (meaning: he is sent) occurs once in the Qur’an

Recitation Challenge: Two Mutamasil (identical letters) ه appear consecutively.

Tajweed Tip: When two mutamasil (identicals) letters meet in a sagheer state ( first one being sakin and second one having a harakah), Idghaam has to be done. The first ه will be completely merged into second and second ه has a shaddah because of idghaam. Recite with merging (idghaam) of first ه with the second.
