Juzz -11 الـلـؤلـؤ و الـمـرجـان

Juzz -11

1.وَزِيَادَةٌ Surah Yunus : 26

لِّلَّذِینَ أَحۡسَنُوا۟ ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰ وَزِیَادَةࣱۖ وَلَا یَرۡهَقُ وُجُوهَهُمۡ قَتَرࣱ وَلَا ذِلَّةٌۚ أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ أَصۡحَـٰبُ ٱلۡجَنَّةِۖ هُمۡ فِیهَا خَـٰلِدُونَ

Those who do good will have the finest reward and ˹even˺ more. Neither gloom nor disgrace will cover their faces. It is they who will be the residents of Paradise. They will be there forever.

The word وَزِيَادَةٌ (even more) occurs twice in the Qur’an

Contemplation: The reward on the good deeds is multiplied ten to seven hundred times and manifold. This reward includes what Allah will give them in Paradise, such as the palaces, Al-Hur (virgins of Paradise), and bestow His pleasure upon them. He will give them what He has hidden for them of the delight of the eye.

He will grant them on top of all of that and even better, the honor of looking at His Noble Face. This is the increase that is greater than anything that had been given. They will not deserve that because of their deeds, but rather, they will receive it by the grace of Allah and His mercy.

2.يَهِدِّىٓ-Surah Yunus: 35

قُلْ هَلْ مِن شُرَكَآئِكُم مَّن يَهْدِىٓ إِلَى ٱلْحَقِّ ۚ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ يَهْدِى لِلْحَقِّ ۗ أَفَمَن يَهْدِىٓ إِلَى ٱلْحَقِّ أَحَقُّ أَن يُتَّبَعَ أَمَّن لَّا يَهِدِّىٓ إِلَّآ أَن يُهْدَىٰ ۖ فَمَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونَ

Ask ˹them, O Prophet˺, “Can any of your associate-gods guide to the truth?” Say, “˹Only˺ Allah guides to the truth.” Who then is more worthy to be followed: the One Who guides to the truth or those who cannot find the way unless guided? What is the matter with you? How do you judge?

The word یَهِدِّیۤ (Guide) occurs once in the Qur’an

Recitation Challenge: Five words of similar structure in the verse poses a challenge for correct recitation. One may recite ي with kasra instead of fatha & might miss the shaddah of د.

Tajweed Tip: In Hafs an Aasim recitation this word has the ruling of Idghaam mutajanis Kabeer but the rule is not visible in the written form, د has to be read after ه.

One has to carefully recite the letter ي with fatha & letter ه with kasra (having weak sifaat needs some extra caution)

Note: 5 words in the same ayah has the same structure يهدى . First 3 words يَهْدِى. Fourth word يَهِدِّى & Fifth word يُهدىٰ. The word یَهِدِّیۤ its own has different ways of reading according to different Qiraat.
