Juzz -3
ٱؤْتُمِنَ
Surah Al-Baqarah Ayah 283
وَإِن كُنتُمْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍۢ وَلَمْ تَجِدُوا كَاتِبًا فَرِهَـٰنٌ مَّقْبُوضَةٌ ۖ………………...فَلْيُؤَدِّ ٱلَّذِى ٱؤْتُمِنَ
أَمَـٰنَتَهُۥ وَلْيَتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ رَبَّهُۥ ۗ…………………………….. وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ عَلِيمٌ ٢٨٣
If you are on a journey and a scribe cannot be found, ………………………………… but˺ the debtor should honour this trust ˹by repaying the debt˺—and let them fear Allah, their Lord…………………………………. And Allah ˹fully˺ knows what you do.Is entrusted ٱؤْتُمِنَ
Occurrence: Once
Recitation Challenge: Applying the correct rules of Hamzatul Wasl.
Tajweed Tip: In continuation(waslan) Hamzatul wasl will be not pronounced.
When Starting (ibtida), Hamzatul wasl will get the Harakah which will be decided (by chair) on which Hamzatul Qata is placed. When recitation is started (Ibtida) with word ٱؤْتُمِنَ then Hamzatul wasl will get a dhammah and hamzatul qata (on the waw) will change into waw madd Note: If ء is sitting on ي then Hamzatul wasl will get kasra & Hamztul qata will change to ي مد (Eg:ِٱئْتُونى begin as اِيتُونِى) If ء is sitting on و then Hamzatul wasl will get dhammah & Hamzatul qata will change to و مد (Eg: ٱؤْتُمِنَ begin as اُوتُمِنَ) Similar words can be found in the Quran where Hamzatul wasl and Hamzatul qata come sequentially and Hamzatul Qata has sakin (in one word)
2.قُلْ أَؤُنَبِّئُكُم
15: Al-Imraan
قُلْ أَؤُنَبِّئُكُم بِخَيْرٍۢ مِّن ذَٰلِكُمْ ۚ …………………….. ۗ وَٱللَّهُ بَصِيرٌۢ بِٱلْعِبَادِ ١٥
Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Shall I inform you of what is better than ˹all of˺ this?……….” And Allah is All-Seeing of ˹His˺servants,أَؤُنَبِّئُكُم-Shall I inform you
Occurrence: Once
Recitation Challenge: 3 Hamzas are occurring in a single word, a recite may make an error of reading second hamza as waaw or using jawf for its pronunciation (consecutive 2 hamzas)
Tajweed Tip: The reciter should ensure that the second ء is pronounced from furthest part of Throat, and complete the harakah of dhammah by circling the lips properly and then the 3rd ء along with letter ك with complete dhamma must be articulated.
Note: Hamzatul Qata can be written on alif أ, on yaa ئ or on waaw ؤ.
