Day 04: 30 Days Excellence Challenge
Tajweed Rule of the Day:
Madd Rules – When you see a Madd sign (ٓ), check if it is followed by a Hamzah (ء).
If there is a Hamzah, elongate the Madd for 4 harakat.
If there is no Hamzah, elongate the Madd for 6 harakat.
This rule helps you balance the rhythm and beauty of your recitation.
Today’s Goal:
Recite Juz 4 and mark every Madd sign. Check if it is followed by a Hamzah and elongate accordingly (4 or 6 harakat). Focus on applying this rule as you recite.
Reflection:
How does understanding the rules of elongation (Madd) help you appreciate the precision and beauty of the Quran? Reflect on how these rules enhance your connection with Allah’s words.
