Day 21: 30 Days Excellence Challenge
Tajweed Rule of the Day:
Stopping at a Madd Letter:
When stopping at a word that ends with a Madd letter (Alif, Waaw, or Yaa), elongate the Madd for 2 harakat (counts). Do not increase it beyond 2 harakat or shorten it. This applies to words like قَالُوا (qaaloo), إِنِّي (innee), and موسى (Musa).
Examples for Clarity:
Stopping at Madd Letters Examples:
قَالُوا → "Qaaloo" (stop and elongate the Waaw for 2 harakat).
إِنِّي → "Innee" (stop and elongate the Yaa for 2 harakat).
موسى→ "Musa" (stop and elongate the Yaa for 2 harakat).
Today’s Goal:
Recite Juz 21 and mark every word ending with a Madd letter (Alif, Waaw, Yaa). Focus on elongating the Madd for exactly 2 harakat when stopping.
