Day 20: 30 Days Excellence Challenge
Tajweed Rule of the Day:
Stopping on Taa Marbootah (ة):
When stopping on a word ending with Taa Marbootah (ة), pronounce it as a Ha (ه) sound instead of a Taa. This rule applies only when stopping, not during continuous recitation.
Examples for Clarity:
Stopping Examples:
رَحْمَةٌ → "Rahmah" (stop by pronouncing the Taa Marbootah as Ha).
جَنَّةٌ → "Jannah" (stop by pronouncing the Taa Marbootah as Ha).
زَكَاةٌ → "Zakah" (stop by pronouncing the Taa Marbootah as Ha).
حِكْمَةٌ → "Hikmah" (stop by pronouncing the Taa Marbootah as Ha).
Today’s Goal:
Recite Juz 20 and mark every word ending with Taa Marbootah. Focus on stopping correctly by pronouncing it as a Ha (ه) sound.
Reflection:
How does applying this rule help you appreciate the precision and beauty of the Quran? Reflect on how these rules enhance your recitation and connection with Allah’s words.
