Imām Qālūn was deaf!!!

There are narrations that suggest that Imām Qālūn was deaf and he would look at the lips of the reciter to correct their errors.

It is said that when worldly matters were discussed with him, even in a loud voice, he could not hear but when the Qur’an was recited he was able to hear and correct the mistakes of the reciter.
