Perfect Recitation as a student

When Imām Hamzah went to recite to his teacher Imām al-Aʿmash’, his classmates were watching in a doubtful manner (regarding his recitation). Imām Hamzah recited Sūrah Yūsuf (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ) and his teacher did not stop him even once for any mistakes.

All listened attentively and with wonder to his recitation, and by the time he had completed the juz, those present became welcoming and friendly to him.
