Juzz -1

1.Surah Al-Baqarah: بِمُزَحْزِحِه

وَلَتَجِدَنَّهُمْ أَحْرَصَ ٱلنَّاسِ عَلَىٰ حَيَوٰةٍۢ وَمِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا۟ ۚ يَوَدُّ أَحَدُهُم ْ

لَوْ يُعَمَّرُ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍۢ وَمَا هُوَ بِمُزَحْزِحِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلْعَذَابِ أَن يُعَمَّرَ ۗ وَٱللَّهُبَصِيرٌۢ بِمَا يَعْمَلُون

[البقرة ٩٦]

You will surely find them clinging to life more eagerly than any other people, even more than polytheists. Each one of them wishes to live a thousand years. But even if they were to live that long, it would not save them from the punishment. And Allah is All-Seeing of what they do.

The word بِمُزَحْزِحِه (Meaning (will) remove him) occurs once in the Qur’an.

♦Recitation Challenge: Close proximity of the makhraj of letters ه (furthermost part of throat, Aqsal halq) and ح ( middle part of throat, Wasatul halq), both having kasra with weak characteristics, sifaat.

♦Tajweed Tip: Take special care to pronounce ه and ح clearly from their makhraj with kasra & with focus.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.

2. Surah Al-Baqarah : صِبْغَةَ

صِبْغَةَ ٱللَّهِ ۖ وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ صِبْغَةًۭ ۖ وَنَحْنُ لَهُۥ عَـٰبِدُونَ

[البقرة ١٣٨]

This is the ˹natural˺ Way of Allah. And who is better than Allah in ordaining a way? And we worship ˹none but˺ Him.

The word صِبْغَةَ occurs thrice in the Qur’an.

♦Contemplation:

The religion of Islam is presented as the coloring (Sibghah) of Allah (SWT) and it is the unalloyed worship of Allah and total submission to him. The verse is a commandment asking Muslims “to dye” themselves in the “coloring of Allah”, outwardly and inwardly by offering unalloyed worship to him alone., by submitting themselves totally to His commandments and by gladly accepting His will.
