Day 14: 30 Days Excellence Challenge

Tajweed Rule of the Day:
Idgham Kamil with Ghunnah:
When a Noon Sakinah (نْ) or Tanween (ً ٍ ٌ) is followed by the letters Meem (م) or Noon (ن), merge the Noon completely into the next letter with Ghunnah (nasalization) for 2 harakat. This is called Idgham Kamil with Ghunnah.

Examples for Clarity:

  • Idgham Kamil with Ghunnah Examples:

    • مِنْ نَفْسٍ → "Minnafsin" (Noon Sakinah followed by ن).

    • مِنْ مَالٍ → "Mimmaalin" (Noon Sakinah followed by م).

    • حَكِيمٌ مُّبِينٌ → "Hakeemummubeen" (Tanween followed by م).

Reminder from Day 01:

Today’s Goal:
Recite Juz 14 and mark every Noon Sakinah or Tanween followed by Meem (م) or Noon (ن). Focus on completely merging the Noon into the next letter with Ghunnah.
