Course Details

Description:

  • This eloquent piece of work is named after its author Imam Abū Muzāḥim Mūsā al-Khāqānī and it is the first poem written about tajwīd. It was written before many of the famous poems of tajwīd. The poem consists of 51 lines and each line beautifully packed with advice to the reader of the Qur’an.

Prerequisite:

  • This course requires no pre-requisites, although having prior knowledge of the Arabic Alphabet and tajwīd is an advantage.

Who is this course for:

  • This course is aimed at students who have previously studied basic tajwīd & Qiraa’ah.

Learning Objectives:

  • Develop further the rules learned in Beginners tajwīd & Qiraa’ah

  • Be introduced and guided on how to beautify your recitation

  • Explore the basics of the Art of Recitation, which will enable you to progress onto Advanced tajwīd & Qiraa’ah

  • To experience a journey through history and to see how the scholars of the past treated the noble science of tajwīd.

12 days (Commencing on 29th July 2024)

Mon-Thursday at 6.00 am Makkah time (3 weeks)

100 Saudi Riyals ( 27$)

Certification:

Upon memorizing the complete poem, By reading to the teacher directly with understanding, the student will receive ijāzah. There will be no participation certificate.

Teaching Platforms:

  • Students are expected to have access to Zoom (https://www.zoom.us/), a platform used to conduct all online classes. Also, access to WhatsApp and Telegram Apps is recommended.
