Course Description:

Nada al Quloob, The Dew of the Hearts, is the beginner’s level tajwīd course for sisters that gives them droplets of knowledge, aiming to help them fulfill their obligation of reciting the Qur’an properly, without necessarily knowing all the theoretical aspects of the recitation rules.

Who is this course for:

This course is aimed at sisters who are absolute beginner’s in tajwīd but are able to read Arabic letters.

Learning Objectives:

In this program, students will learn:

• How to identify and practically apply proper fus’ha articulation points (مَخارِج الحُرُوف). 

• The basic Rules of tajwīd and their application

Program Duration:

2 1/2 hours a day for 6 days.

Fees:

You can select either with certification ( 100 Saudi Riyals = 27$) or without ( will be free).

Assessments: 

• Grading Criteria:

  • Continuous daily evaluation on participation NOT excellence in knowledge or recitation [40%]

  • Written exam on the given lessons, with questions targeting critical thinking rather than solid memorization [50%]

  • Project: A teaching aid explaining one of the tajwīd lessons, it can be a PowerPoint, video,  animations, exhibit, poem, or live teaching, etc. [10%]

• Students must score at least 75% in the class, in order to move to the next level, Ghaith ul Quloob. 

Certification:

Upon completion, all courses will be certified by Azharul Jannah.

Teaching Platforms:

Students are expected to have access to Zoom (https://www.zoom.us/), a platform used to conduct all online classes. Also, access to WhatsApp and Telegram Apps is recommended.
