Course Details

Course Description:

Ghaith ul Quloob, the Blessed Rain of the Hearts, is an intermediate-level course where students get detailed knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of Tajweed. Tajweed rules are introduced for scientific reasons and cover 60% of the reading method of Hafs An Aasim.

Course Prerequisite:

1. Students must know all the Makhaarij (articulation points of letters) & Sifaat and be well-equipped to pronounce letters.

2. Students must know the rules of Tajweed (BASIC)- Nada ul Quloob OR Muqaddimatul Jazariyya (with or without Ijaza)

3. Students must be able to recite the Qur'an fluently, in a slow and progressive manner.

4. There will be an interview before the selection.

Learning Objectives:

A more detailed Tajweed course aiming to get students deeper in knowledge by understanding and learning the theoretical aspects of Tajweed thus preparing them for the more advanced level through:

Introducing them to understanding the science of Tajweed and some ahkam

Learning the makharijul Huroof with the opinions of other schools of teachings

Learning sifaat (characters of Arabic letters) which is complementary to makharij in helping students pronounce the Arabic letters properly

It also includes practice through recitation and optional memorization.

In addition to a short reminder that trains students to ponder upon the Qur’an not just memorize it. This is not a Tafseer, but rather a reflection upon Allah’s commands in the surahs recited and practical advice on how to implement them in daily life.

2 hours per week (6-month course)

15. Mistakes in the pronunciation

16. Tafkheem and Tarqeeq

With 3 special lectures

Assessments

  • February 2023 : Recitation correction will be introduced after completing Makhraj and Siffat lesson ( every student will be reciting Surah Hujaraat completely to the teacher- optional on students)

    Recordings will be provided for reference purposes, 75% attendance is essential to get to the next level. (Sisters who are using the recordings will have to submit a course (Subject) summary after listening to the recorded lecture in order to mark their attendance. (within 48hrs time)

Certification:

Upon completion, all courses will be certified by Azharul Jannah.

Teaching Platforms:

Students are expected to have access to Zoom (https://www.zoom.us/), a platform used to conduct all online classes. Also, access to WhatsApp and Telegram Apps is recommended.
